There are many cities that instantly recognizable by name in California, cities like San Diego, Hollywood, Sacramento, or Los Angeles. These cities boast fame, bustling streets, and one of a kind site. But there are many other cities that make up the state, and many of the famous names or well-known athletes choose smaller, more humble spots to call their home. Many still have families located elsewhere, and visit these spots regularly, making it so Hollywood isn’t the only place that you might catch a glimpse of a star.

Rialto California is no Los Angeles or Hollywood, but even without the grand title, it is actually the home of many different famous people, or the home of their families. That’s right, Rialto isn’t just known for its steady supply of wonderful Rialto tutor. One notable person is Alex Acker, a famous basketball player. Acker has played on the Olympic team, and has also played professionally for the Fayetteville Patriots. His parents call Rialto home.

Nicholas Alexander Barnett is a well-known linebacker who played for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. While he was drafted from Oregon State University, both his family and he called Rialto home.

Jeffrey Guy Conine is a well-traveled baseball player, mostly as a first basemen/outfielder. He has played for the Cincinnati Reds, the Kansas City Royals, the Florida Marlins, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Philadelphia Phillies. He is mostly associated with his time on the Marlins, however, and currently calls Rialto home.

If you’re a football fan you’ve probably heard of Ronald Mandel “Ronnie” Lott, who was born in Rialto. He played as cornerback, free safety, and strong safety while playing in college as well as during his career in the NFL. His claim to fame is his hard-hitting style, and is marked up there with Steve Atwater and Jack Tatum as the hardest hitter in history. Many consider him to the best secondary player that the NFL has ever seen.

Carlos Enrique Nolasco is another Major League Baseball player, who played for the Florida Marlins. Nolasco was actually drafted right out of Rialto High School!

All of these people made a name for themselves in sports, but you could make a name for yourself in anything you choose! If you visit with your Rialto tutor regularly and work diligently, you might just find yourself on the next list of famous people that currently call or did call Rialto home!
