A Nature Center at the White Tank Mountains Regional Park provides information on local flora and fauna, along with daily educational programs for tourists.

The community of Buckeye provides a wide variety of city events, catering to many different interests and providing fun for the whole family. A local favorite, Movies in the Park is hosted at Festival Foothills Park, where a family-friendly movie is projected in the park as families can spend quality time enjoying some laughs and building memories to last a lifetime. Sponsored by the City of Buckeye Community Services Department, residents can join in and volunteer to help out at events year round, including concerts, festivals, runs, and carnivals.

Several school districts serve the city of Buckeye, including Buckeye Elementary School District, Liberty Elementary School District, The Odyssey Preparatory Academy, and others. With a lot of selection, parents enjoy having a wide variety of choices when it comes to schooling. For students who need a little more one-on-one assistance, local Buckeye tutors are available to help them achieve their educational goals.
