Considered to be a “master-planned” community, Boca Del Mar boasts a wide variety of amenities for its residents, with many parks and recreational facilities, shops, and places of worship. With its beginnings in the early 1970s, Boca Del Mar hasn’t changed a whole lot since then. One of Boca Del Mar’s claims to fame is their Tree Legacy Program. A green initiative started by concerned community members, the Tree Legacy Program is built around the idea of planting trees to commemorate a loved one. Without access to a large amount of community landscaping money, the people living in Boca Del Mar wanted to continue to improve their green areas. A community member of Boca Del Mar, Jack Wilderman, came up with the idea of the Tree Legacy Program as a way to fund planting new trees throughout the community. The program has been going on since the early 1990s, and any community member may purchase a tree for a few hundred dollars and have it dedicated in remembrance of a fallen friend or in honor of a loved one’s achievement. Trees can even be purchased to remember an anniversary, or as a gift to a friend. Many different kinds of trees are available for purchase.

Within the community of Boca Del Mar you will find the Via Mizner Golf and Country Club, a popular place to spend a gorgeous spring day in Florida. Via Mizner Golf and Country Club provides a beautiful golfing facility for golfers of all skill levels, as well as a lovely country club for relaxing after a long day of golf. Tennis courts are also available to members who want to play a match or two, and a fitness center provides excellent equipment and cardio machines for members that would like to get a good workout in. The Via Mizner Golf and Country Club also features fine dining at the Grill Room and Bar, with delicious cuisine available for lunch or dinner.
