As that happened, many small communities and towns like Anderson Township popped up and began to grow and develop as popular suburban, family-friendly neighborhoods, with low crime rates and a high quality of living.

When it comes to recreation and outdoor activities, Anderson Township is a great place to live. There are a wide variety of parks and green spaces, and a number of local amusement parks and recreation centers as well. Coney Island Amusement Center brings in visitors from around the state of Ohio, with fun for the whole family. With amusement rides and roller coasters, the Coney Island Amusement Center is probably most popular for its water slides and water park activities. During the summer, this is probably the most popular spot in town! Another popular spot in Anderson Township is the Riverbend Music Center. The Riverbend Music Center is quite the unique venue, and popular place for outdoor concerts, as it is an outdoor amphitheater with a picturesque backdrop of the Ohio River right next to it. This is where the local orchestra plays regularly, and could there be a more perfect venue for listening to beautiful classic music?!

The Ohio Department of Education has given the local school system in Anderson Township a rating of "excellent", with wonderful public schools and high quality educators. Served by the Forest Hills Local School District, there are five public elementary schools, one public middle school, and two public high schools.
