Popular activities for Rockwall’s youth include Summer Camp, Spring Break Camp, a mother-son dance, Butterfly classes, and more. Many holiday themed events spring up year round and encourage involvement from the whole family.

An up and coming adult level program in Rockwall is their painting class at The Center, the community building in Rockwall. Open to artists of all skill levels, and even those self-proclaimed non-artists, these classes walk you through basic art principles and allow you to find your own creative expression. These art classes are every Tuesday night. If art doesn’t sound fun to you, go ahead and take some square dancing lessons! Also located at the Center on Tuesday nights, you can learn to square dance while being coached by local experts.

A popular Babysitting Certification Class is open to teenagers of Rockwall who are looking to take up the job, or just want to learn some valuable life skills. With a trained American Red Cross Instructor on hand, teens will learn life skills and safety tips, while also learning leadership techniques and, of course, first aid and how to care for young children.

Many community events around the city of Rockwall are free to the public. These include holiday festivals, family-friendly events, concerts, and fireworks displays. With something going on throughout the year, there is always an upcoming community event to look forward to.
