There’s even paved trails for those that would prefer to bike along the path.

If you’d rather just enjoy the day then there is always Spanaway Park, which is 135 acres of adventure just waiting for the right kind of people! Along with tall, sprawling trees and grassy areas, they also have two swimming beaches, perfect for cooling off on those hot summer days. Fishing is also an option, cast away off the fishing pier located right in the park! If you’d rather venture on to the water not to fret, there is a boat launch and even a place for boat rentals, in case you didn’t happen to remember to bring your own.

If you’re picture of winding down is putting on your trusted boots, broken in backpack, and proven sun hat to go hiking for a day then head on over to Bresemann Forest Park Trail. If you’d prefer to just relax, hear the sounds of nature, and maybe get a little wet while doing so, then Spanaway Park might be the place for you. Both offer a wonderful way of either getting out on your own or enjoying some time with friends or family, getting a little of that much-needed Vitamin D, and giving your brain the rest it needs between those hard-core study sessions.
