Thanks to its close location, supplies were brought over for building the city and constructing the structure of what is now Poulsbo.

Poulsbo is considered to be located within the metropolitan area of Seattle, and as such, enjoys access to all of the big city's amenities. Similarly, back in Poulsbo's early days, fisherman would take their daily catch into Seattle's fish market to sell, traveling that same easy commute across the water.
