Ann Arbor, Michigan, is the proud home of the University of Michigan. Founded in Detroit in 1817, it is the oldest college in the state. Another great spot is one of the largest and oldest university art museums in the U.S. There are more than 21,000 pieces that date back centuries, and are from cultures around the world. To name just a few, some of the artists include Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, James McNeill Whistler, and Andy Warhol. The university has been collecting art forms more than one hundred and fifty years, and has a lot to show for it.
