These beautiful creations make for a wonderful and relaxing scene, and have made homes in the area that much more sought after.

After the gardens, you can visit the historical mansions and buildings of the area, getting to explore old and well preserved mansions, one even saved by the owner of the tours back in the 90’s; it was slated to be demolished! You’ll get to see some historic bed and breakfasts, one that isn’t even yet open the public! If that wasn’t enough you get to stop at a famous person’s mansion, which is only open for that tour. It’s so secretive you don’t even get to know whose house it is until you are on the tour!

There’s even some not so traditional tours that you can embark one. One is dedicated to pawn shops and auctions, showing you the ins and outs of trading and buying coins and other various special items. You’ll get to see famous pawn shops that have been featured on television, as well as some artifacts that they have. One tour is even dedicated just to the Michigan Renaissance festival, what a way to get out and do something a little different!

We often find ourselves stuck in our normal routines, going to school, eating, sleeping, doing homework, and meeting with our Ferndale tutor.
